Lysander Lake & Lucy’s Pool - Temporarily Closed due to excess rainfall.
The committee have made the decision to close these lakes until this unprecedented rainfall eases properly.
The pumps that are installed to control the levels of the surrounding waters cannot keep up (& have temporary failed at times).
We do not believe we have, or will lose decent fish into the surrounding waters, but may lose some smaller F1s & roach that were stocked recently.
We have a plan to help prevent this in the future, but can’t do anything until the levels recede.
We apologise for any inconvenience but can assure that they will reopen soon.
