Yes, you read it correctly.
We managed to bag 406 lb 11oz of carp in total during the evening series match down there on friday. Only 6 anglers in only 3 HOURS. That is, on average, well over 60lb each, not bad going eh. The conditions were spot on, a bit cooler, slight breeze, odd shower. We were pegged between pegs 3 to 8, the majority were caught on the method, a couple caught on the pole. All in all, a great short session. Want to know how we did it, drop me an email and I will let you know. Cheers, Sec. Read More >>

In his own words............
I fished Sharhill Upper last Wednesday had a really good day. Apart from the 12 or so small carp under a pound, I had 1 at 6lb, 2 at 8lb, 1 at 9lb, 1 at 10lb, 1 at 12lb, all caught with method feeder with pellet. Hope to go again in the next few weeks to see if I can do better. See attached photo of the 10lb fish.

All members are very welcome to come along to what is expected to be a fun fishing and camping couple of days. The outline plan is to travel up there...about 1hr 30mins from Dorchester on the saturday morning, pitch a tent then have a friendly knock up for a couple of hours in the afternoon, early evening. Then have a curry and a couple or 3 beers in the onsite cafe in the evening. Breakfast is booked for the sunday morning in the same cafe, where at the same time the draw for the club match will take place. Fish the match, or hav... Read More >>

3 Members face ban from Luckfield

3 senior members are facing a ban from night fishing sessions at Luckfield Lake for leaving litter, including tins and bottles after a night session recently. This is possibly the second time those responsible have left their litter at the lake.
There may also be others banned from Heath Lake for failing to sign in and gaining access throught the holiday camp & even possibly fishing beyond the times allowed on the site. REMEMBER...IT IS A WORKING INDUSTRIAL SITE & THE LANDOWNERS NEED A RECORD OF WHO IS ON SITE AT ALL TIMES.
These inconsiderate irresponsible people who have obviously not read the rules and regulations are spoiling things for the rest of us. Please note....all membe... Read More >>
