The 1st Attended Session - The Heath

Article entered 09 July 2009 at 13:28 by Dave Beadnell-smith

So far weve had four juniors respond to the sessions on offer, but theyve not always been available. Well when we reached The Heath we met with young William and his father (Tim). Whisky went through Williams set up and helped him plumb the depth and sure enough he caught first cast. This was followed by many silver fish of various sizes. Whisky then let William have a go with his tip rod and very soon he was into a nice carp. Lots of excitement followed. Tim was sure Williams attention time would be short, but no, he stayed to the end. Ive since heard he fell asleep on the way home in the car. A picture of Williams fish should be attached to this article.
An afternoon like that one, makes our efforts seem worth while - we just need a few more to come along.

Next one July 25th at Court Barn 1200 - but remember to book in by Thursday evening - email dobsy@sky.com or phone 01305 771379
