A Secluded 1.5 acre, tree lined lake in the Beautiful Dorset countryside, with depths of 6ft and a small island with steep shelves against it.

The Season

Open all year

Note: The lake will be closed on eight consecutive Saturday’s in the winter (dates will be available from the Revels Complex Tackle shop).

Anglers are required to book in at Revels personally or by calling 01300 345301 prior to entering the farm grounds.


Constraints

- Members under 16 must be accompanied by a senior member

- Fishing only allowed between dawn & dusk

- No camping. Leave all gates as found

- Avoid disturbing livestock

- Do not walk around, or fish the 2 adjacent Trout Lakes at any time, unless authorised




Directions and Location

Aim for Revels (details in the Revels section), 500yrds before Revels, turn right, signposted Buckland Newton, after 50yds turn right, through the gate over a cattle grid, follow the track down the hill, over the ford between the trout lakes, bear right through the yard, past the cottages & park in the spaces provided (see sign) close to the lake.
