This was the first match of the new season. 18 anglers made the journey north. We realized it was going to be a hard day when we found out the match the day before had been won with 270lbs.
Mick Brown made up for his Viaduct winter league woes with 85lbs 06oz on peg 81, fishing straight lead with pellet and the waggler. Steve Roberts was 2nd with 77lbs 09oz and Steve Crowford 3rd with 67lbs 02oz.
Nick White and Terry Green won the sections.
Chris Watson won the silvers with 22lbs 02oz.

Don’t forget our weekend away to Bullock Farm, Kingston Seymour, North Somerset! 10th11th July, camping over night. Two matches have been organized, Saturday afternoon and Sunday. An evening meal (with a few Beers) on the Saturday. Breakfast Sunday. Please contact me for more details. A £10 deposit is required to book your place. If you want to come and just pleasure fish or go carp fishing (Stand fast Whisky) that’s fine.
The cost is Camping £5.00 per night, breakfast £5.00, evening meal £6.00 (Curry) plus match fees
