River Frome (Wool) Litter pick
21 October 2023

On this damp Saturday morning, members of DDAS carried out an Angling Trust ‘Anglers Against Litter’ session at our stretch of the River Frome at Wool.
The majority of the litter collected (5 bags) was picked from adjacent to the 2 lay-by’s close to the river, very little was collected from the river banks.
A massive thank you to:
Alun Watson
Chris Johnson
Graham Underwood
Gary Biles
Philip Kapellar
Steve Sid Sudworth (me)
……for your time/efforts πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ™.
This & the Worgret section of the river opens to members from Wednesday 1st November until the last day of February 2024.
Please remember to familiarise yourselves with the rules & regulations and the Graying/Pike guidelines in the members handbook, available to download from the society website.
Any game fish (accidentally) caught are to be returned immediately.
Let’s hope we get a pause in the current weather so we can enjoy it.
Thank you
Steve
