it is with much sadness to announce the passing of a past president of DDAS: Mr Mike Park.

Mike was a member of the society from the early 1970's & became a committee member in the late 70's up until his final term as president in 2017.

He was a great match river angler, grafter & all round 'very nice bloke'. One of his major claims to fame was the 4lb+ Grayling he caught on the Frome 'back in the day', unfortunately not on a DDAS stretch so we couldn't publish it as a club record... there's a chance for all of us yet (those that are searching for one that is ).
