I wanted to put this on the DDAS site
But did not know how to:

I have only just started fishing and joined DDAS.
Last Thursday I left my brand new rod and reel on the bank by mistake.
I was obviously upset, but being a new member did not know what to do.
I contacted Steve the only committee member I knew.
Although he was on holiday he chased the matter and soon found out it had been found and the rod returned to me.
So a big THANK YOU. to the person who found it (Andy Hawkins) and
a very big Thank you to Steve who calmly got on the case.
With all the not so good things happening around us at the moment,
This restored my faith in human nature
